How billing works
Straight answers, no small print. Prices exclude VAT and other taxes, which are added where they apply.
Does it run payroll for my country?
Yes. UK PAYE (income tax, National Insurance, student loans, auto-enrolment) is modelled in full. For Ireland, the US, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, the UAE, Pakistan and India we apply the national statutory tables for the current tax year; regional and state taxes are listed as not modelled so you always know what the figures cover.
How is pricing worked out?
One price per employee each month for the core HR workspace — people records, attendance, leave, documents, onboarding and offboarding, roles and notifications. Payroll, recruitment, reports, messages and audit history are optional add-ons at a fixed monthly price. Prices are in your country’s currency where we have local prices, and our international prices everywhere else.
Who counts as an employee?
Every employee on your team, whatever their status — including people on leave and anyone you have invited — except you, the owner, who is free. People who leave stop counting on their exit date.
What happens as we grow?
Nothing to do: your subscription follows your team. New people are charged pro rata from the day they are added; people who leave stop counting from your next invoice. We never add an add-on without you choosing it.
Can we cancel?
Any time from your billing page. Access continues until the end of the paid period.

How is my monthly charge worked out?

Can I try an add-on first?
Yes. Every add-on can be tried free for a few days, once — at checkout or later from Billing & add-ons in your workspace. We remind you a day before the trial ends; remove it before then and you’re never charged.
Which price applies to me?
The price for the country your company is based in — choose it above. Where we don’t have local prices yet, our international prices apply. Once you subscribe you keep your price — if our list price changes, we tell you well in advance before anything changes for you.
Is there a free trial?
